Just as the compass rose comprises the four primary directions of north, south, east, and west; so too, are the influences upon Thai cooking. Inspiration from Thailand’s northern, north-eastern, central, and southern regions blend distinctive flavors of salt, sweet, sour, and spice to create the unique taste that is “Thai cuisine.”
Our Chefs began as children, assisting their families cultivate herbs and vegetables from their home gardens and collecting mushrooms from nearby woods. Their knowledge and cooking skills grew as they matured. Over time, they learned the ancestral blend of ingredients and flavors that produce just the right taste and texture for each traditional entrée.
For over 25-years, our Chefs have refined their culinary skills with incorporation of Sushi and merging food trends while serving in and as owners of successful Thai restaurants in North Carolina and the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
